|
| Lawrence N. Berwitz has been practicing law since 1980. He is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law (1979) and earned his bachelor's degree cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany (1973).
Mr. Berwitz is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Estate Planning Council of Nassau, Inc. and serves on various committees of the New York State, Nassau County and Queens County Bar associations dealing with trusts and estates, taxation, elder law and Surrogate's Court practice and is immediate past co-chairperson of the Nassau County Elder Law, Social Services & Health Advocacy Committee.
He has been a guest speaker on the radio, lectured at continuing education courses for attorneys and accountants and authored articles on issues concerning estate and retirement distribution planning, asset preservation, Surrogate's Court practice and elder law. He is admitted to practice law before all of the courts of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.

|
| Admitted to practice in 1979, Maureen Rothschild DiTata
earned her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the State University
of New York at Buffalo (1974) and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
She
received her law degree from St. John's University School of Law
(1978). She is licensed to practice law before all New York State
Courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern and
Eastern Districts of New York, and over the years has secured various
pro hac vice admissions to practice in other states.
She is a
member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on its Trusts
& Estates and Elder Law Committees, and serves on related
committees of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations.
She
also belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the
American Business Women's Association, the North Shore Business
Professional Women's Association, Mineola/Garden City Rotary and the
Garden City Assembly. She has been honored by the Yashar Chapter of
Hadassah as the 2010 Woman of the Year and serves on the Heart Advisory
Council of the American Heart Association and on the Community Advisory
Board of The Amsterdam at Harborside, a life care community which is
under construction in Port Washington, and is a frequent lecturer on
issues concerning estate planning, asset preservation and elder law.

|
| After earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from Bucknell University, Marissa A. Felix obtained her law degree from Pace University School of Law. During law school, Marissa was selected as a Federal Income Taxation Dean’s Scholar, a teaching assistant and mentor type position. She has also interned in the legal department of the March of Dimes Foundation and the Westchester County Attorney’s office. Marissa also participated in the State Judicial Externship Program, through which she interned with Justice Robert A. Spolzino, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, New York. | After earning a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in History from Drew University, Rosemary Harnisher obtained her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. During law school, Rosemary participated in the St. John’s Elder Law Clinic where she assisted senior citizens with various legal issues. An article based on Rosemary’s research has been published in the New York Law Journal and has been selected for republication in the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Newsletter. Rosemary is a member of the Bar Associations of New York State, Nassau, Queens and Westchester Counties and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. In her spare time, Rosemary enjoys reading history books and painting, as well as spending time with her family. Rosemary looks forward to meeting and speaking with you.
